This month, we're thrilled to feature the fantastic Addict Scooters as our Brand of the Month! They've just released not one, but two new complete scooters that we couldn't wait to explore...
The Defender and the Equalizer are now on the market and have become quite popular over the summer. But what makes each of these models stand out?
The Defender:
The Defender complete is available in three color options: black/red, black/gum, and blue/dark grey. The deck measures 550mm in length and 125mm in width, crafted from 6061 Aluminium Extrusion T6 Heat-Treated. This ensures it's both super strong and very lightweight!
Moving forward, the wheels are Eagle Supply Sushi Roll Chopsticks 7 Spoke 110mm. The scooter features HIC Compression, and the clamp is a Two Bolt Collar CNC Machined Aluminium with M8 Hardware.
The bars are 660mm in height and 580mm in width, constructed from Chromoly Steel Alloy, ensuring they remain lightweight.
Addict has clearly made significant efforts to minimize the weight of the Defender. The pricing is excellent, offering you an Intermediate to Pro level scooter at a very reasonable cost!

The Equalizer:
Starting with the handlebars, they are also made of Chromoly Steel, standing 680mm tall and 605mm wide. The same clamp as on the Defender is used, the Two Bolt CNC Machined Aluminium Hardware, and the fork is Cold forged CNC Machined T6 Aluminium as well. These components keep the scooter lightweight while ensuring it remains exceptionally durable.
The Equalizer is also offered in three color options: black/chrome, black/blue, and black/green.
The deck on the Equalizer is slightly larger, measuring 570mm in length and 127.5mm in width. It's made from the same 6061 Aluminium T6 Heat-Treated material to keep this model light.
The same wheels are featured again here; they've partnered well with Eagle Supply to create an excellent complete scooter!
