Kids typically wear out shoes quickly even under regular circumstances, so just imagine how fast young skaters who skate every day go through a pair of trainers!
Our rider Roxana is just 8 years old and she hits the skate park or her mini half pipe in her backyard almost every day. So she goes through footwear rapidly! We provided her with some Nike SB Stefan Janoski Skate Shoes, and here is her review:
What skate shoes have you previously worn?
I usually wear Vans, but I have also worn Etnies and Lakai as well.
How long do they usually last?
Approximately 6-8 weeks before they’re worn out! Typically, the laces don’t last as long and are usually torn after a week.
What were your initial thoughts on the Nike SB Stefan Janoski’s that SkateHut sent?
I’ve wanted these shoes for a long time, so I was thrilled you sent them to me. I love the color and style. They’re also slim and not too bulky, which I definitely prefer for skating!
How did you feel about the color?
The pink is so cool, I love them.
Did they fit you well?
Yes, they fit perfectly!
Are they comfortable?
They are very comfortable. Some shoes I’ve had can be a bit uncomfortable for skating and hurt my feet, but these were great.

This is the 8th th week I’ve had them, and they’re still in good condition. The rope-style laces lasted longer than standard laces, which was a real bonus, and they lasted 5 weeks before one snapped! So much longer than usual for me. A great pair of shoes overall!
