The final event of the Scoot GB Grand Final took place last weekend on the 10th and 11th of December. It was held at Adrenaline Alley in Corby, drawing numerous riders from across the UK. Scooter Riders included Jamie Hull, James Gellatly, Jordan Clark, Jayden Sharman, among many others.

Scoot GB organized six Qualifier Rounds at various skateparks throughout the UK. The first was the ScootGB Welsh Qualifier atDeeside Aura Skatepark, the second was the ScootGB Southern Qualifier atXC Skatepark, the third was the ScootGB Northern Ireland Qualifier atThe Ramp House, the fourth was the ScootGB Scottish Qualifier atThe Unit23, the fifth was the ScootGB Northern Qualifier atJunction4and the sixth and final was the ScootGB Midland Qualifier atAsylum Skatepark.
This year's competition sponsors included Dogg Scooters, The Real District, Chilli Scooters,Grit Scooters, Dominator Action Sports andCrisps Scooters.

The competition featured nine categories: Novice 8 & under, Novice 12 & under, Novice 13+, Intermediate 8 & under, Intermediate 12 & under, Intermediate 13+, Ladies, Jr Pro/Elite, and Pro/Elite.
We spoke to James Gellatlydiscussing the event's highlights for him.
Which parts of the competition stood out to you the most?
Overall, the competition was fantastic, with a great turnout and an amazing community spirit.
What was your favourite trick that you landed? Mine was your quint whip rewind variation.
My favourite trick was definitely the quilt rewind!
Do you have any advice for beginners entering these types of competitions?
The best advice for beginners is to maintain flow and avoid stopping.

What setup are you currently using?
I'm using the Jayden Sharman signature deck and wheels.
How do resi ramps differ from normal ramps?
The main difference is that resi ramps are padded, making it easier to attempt new tricks!
How do you manage your nerves?
Going over my run mentally helps with nerves. Visualizing the run makes competing ten times easier.
Finals Results
Novice 8 & under - First place went to Stanley Harvey, second to Alexander Rutkowski, and third to Teddie Braniff.
Novice 12 & under - First place was taken by Aaron Ashton, second by Aiden Kingsbury, and third by James Yates.
Novice 13+ - First place went to Archie Brooksbank, second to Archie Skipwith, and third to Owen Watt.
Intermediate 8 & under - First place was awarded to Red Jackson, second to Bobby Stocks, and third to James Stocken.
Intermediate 12 & under - Lewis Connolly secured first place, followed by Isaac Jose in second and Logan Dougherty in third.
Intermediate 13+ - Sam Rance took first place, Tyler Wheatcroft came in second, and Thomas Ashfield finished third.
Jr Pro - Louie Williams claimed first place, Freddie Apples took second, and Joe Crockett finished third.
Pro/Elite - Jayden Sharman captured first place, with James Gellatly in second and Jamie Hull in third.
Ladies - Lucy Evans achieved first place, Jess Jose secured second, and Neve Entwistle took third.
