At the end of October 2022, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our new store! Our Halesowen location has been shifted from Shenstone Trading Estate to a new spot. The new location is just around the corner and a short drive away on Amber Way, less than two minutes by car. This relocation is part of a significant expansion for SkateHut, as the brand has moved its headquarters to a larger facility.

SkateHut has grown remarkably, from starting in a detached garage in Rubery to becoming a leading skate shop in the action sports industry, now occupying over 60,000 square feet!
The Humble Origins of SkateHut!
In 2007, SkateHut was established by Managing Director Mark Johansen-Berg. While on a family trip in Florida, Mark and his wife purchased a pair of Heelys for their eldest child. After returning from the USA, Mark observed that Heelys were almost unavailable in the UK. He decided to seize this opportunity. A few months later, their home became filled with Heelys, and SkateHut emerged.
Since its inception in 2007, SkateHut has truly expanded as a brand and retailer. We now operate three stores: one at our headquarters in Halesowen, another in Corby at the renowned Adrenaline Alley Skatepark, and the third in Manchester at the Greystone Action Sports Academy.
