SkateHut Scooter Team - Rider Profiles

Introducing The Scooter Team!

If you were to look inside our SkateHut Instagram direct messages, you'd notice the most common inquiry: "Are you sponsoring?" Over the years, we've had the pleasure of collaborating with numerous exceptional scooter riders, but it felt like it had been far too long since we last had a fully SkateHut-sponsored scooter team. Starting in late last year and moving into 2020, SkateHut put together a new team. In creating this team, we aim to channel our resources and expertise into the scooter community. Supporting some friends as well as new rising talents is how we chose to make this happen.

Right from the start, there was significant interest! We've been fortunate to put together a powerhouse roster of athletes who are truly advancing the sport of scootering. So, let's introduce our three official pro riders:

Jordan Hall

Jordan Hall, SkateHut T-Shirt

Jordan Hall was the first person we invited to join the team. Currently ranked 2nd in Europe and 10th worldwide, Jordan's approach to park riding is so technically advanced that he performs tricks with a consistency many of his peers hesitate to attempt for fear of ruining their run! Jordan has traveled extensively through scootering and mentions Australia as his favorite destination so far. When asked how people should progress in scootering, Jordan advised, "Keep practicing and have fun with it." He further shared that observing others progress around him has always been a significant motivator for him to push himself harder. Off the scooter, Jordan is a real character! His positivity and enthusiasm are infectious, providing countless quotable lines per session. Alongside being sponsored by SkateHut, Jordan is also currently sponsored by MGP and GAIN Protection.

Isiah Samms

We previously had the pleasure of working with Isiah when he was part of the team we entered into Scootfest 2017, alongside Leo Spencer and Jordan Clark. So, when the opportunity to collaborate with him arose once more, we were thrilled! Isiah's park riding style is all about full speed, diligently working on gymnastic-like tricks until he can execute them with ease, and then quickly refining them to reach new heights. Isiah ranks 9th in Europe and 16th globally. His advice to those aiming to progress and go pro is: "Don't take it too seriously; it's important to enjoy it." He also acknowledges Devon Lowe as a constant source of motivation to push himself further. Off the scooter, Isiah is always up for a laugh and isn't afraid to break out a dance move to celebrate when a trick comes together. In addition to being sponsored by SkateHut, Isiah is sponsored by Fusion Scooters and Core Pads.

Lewis Johnson

Lewis Johnson, S1 Helmet

When Lew joined the team, we were ecstatic! His exceptional confidence in both his riding and his personality made us certain he would be a fantastic addition. He's equally comfortable riding park and street, making him a true dual threat. Currently ranked 12th in Europe, Lew has traveled worldwide and considers Switzerland and Poland as some of his favorite spots to ride. Lewis has stated that the best advice he can offer to those looking to progress is to "enjoy yourself while you can and have fun with it." He mentions Ryan Williams as a major influence and motivator for him. Off the scooter, Lew spends his time building his side ventures and dealing with stocks and shares. At 19 years old, he clearly has an eye on the future. Besides being sponsored by SkateHut, Lew is sponsored by Triad Scooters & Oath, S1scoot, and is an ambassador for Graystone Action Sports Manchester.

We are extremely proud to introduce our official scooter team. These guys will represent us brilliantly as both riders and personalities throughout 2020. Keep a close eye on our social media and our YouTube channel for some amazing content from these riders!
