Experience an evening of live music and fresh DJs in support of Birmingham Children's Hospital - The Big Gig is returning!
Throughout 2019, SkateHut has participated in various fundraising activities, collecting funds for their longstanding charity partner, Birmingham Children's Hospital. Earlier this year, five members of the SkateHut team took part in the Birmingham 10K, raising over £900. The latest fundraising event is The Big Gig - a night filled with live music, fresh DJs, and a vibrant atmosphere. The entire evening is sponsored by SkateHut's shipping partners, Yodel.co.uk.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2019, at Benjamin's Halesowen. Entertainment for the evening will feature Cantaloop, a Midlands-based funk and soul group, and SkateHut's own house band, Golden Bedspread. Additional entertainment will include DJ sets from JY-ME, Jamirish, and YungDeej. Tickets for The Big Gig are priced at £5 in advance and £6 at the door. Visit our Halesowen store to purchase your £5 advance tickets. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
"We have the top Funk-Punk-Soul-Jazz-Hip-Hop band in the Midlands performing. Cantaloop has played at numerous renowned European festivals, including Glastonbury. SkateHut's newly formed band, Golden Bedspread, will also make their debut on the night.
