ScootGB Wales/Northern Qualifier.
The ScootGB Wales/Northern Qualifier is essentially a major, high-energy stunt scooter contest happening at Deeside Skatepark on Saturday, August 1st, 2026. Consider it the ultimate face-off for riders from across Wales and Northern England. It is actually the final opportunity of the season for riders to showcase their top tricks and secure a sought-after spot in the British Championship Finals. The atmosphere will be electric, with events split between the park's bowl and street sections from late morning until evening.
What makes this event stand out is that it truly welcomes everyone in the scooter community, regardless of age or skill level. Gloucester Skate Park Project
The Gloucester Skatepark Summer Jam is happening on Saturday, 15th August, and it's going to be a fantastic time! Head over to Bakersfield on Park End Road for an entire day of completely free action. The day is divided into different blocks starting from 11:00 am, covering everything from scooters and BMX to rollerblading and skateboarding. There's even a dedicated under-16s session to start things off, plus plenty of 30-minute free skates, mini-games, and prize giveaways interspersed between the main events to keep the energy high.
Just a few quick reminders before heading out: if you're bringing riders under 16, a parent or guardian needs to sign them in, and helmets are mandatory. Also, parking is not allowed at the Bakersfield site itself until everything concludes around 6:00 pm, so you'll need to find a nearby spot. Oh, and if you need a restroom break, the closest public toilets are a short walk away at the Butterfly Café in Gloucester Park or over at Gloucester Quays.

Spanner Lock-In – Adrenaline Alley, Corby
Closing out August on the Bank Holiday Saturday, Adrenaline Alley in Corby — Europe's largest indoor action sports venue — is hosting an exclusive Spanner Lock-In event. If you're unfamiliar with Spanner, he's one of the most recognised names in UK scooter riding: a content creator, professional rider, and genuine personality in the scene.
Unlike a typical meet-and-greet, the Lock-In is an intimate, small-group session held in Building 3 (Adrenaline Alley's dedicated scooter room) with a maximum of just 25 riders per slot. This means real riding time with Spanner, not just a photo-and-go queue. Several time slots are available throughout the day, though early slots have already sold out — check the Adrenaline Alley website for remaining availability.
Note: SkateHut has a shop at Adrenaline Alley, so if you're attending the event, drop by and say hello while you're there.
