Introducing the one of Root Industries lightest pro model stunt scooters yet and one of the lightest of it's size on the market weighing in at a 3.1kg, rocking a 19.5" (495mm) length by 5" (127mm) width deck, 650mm (25.5") tall bars. The Type R GT is the highest spec premium scooter within the Type R Stunt Scooter range. Using a collection of some of the most innovative components ever created by the Root Industries brand, the popular HMA Aluminium bars, new GT clamp, Lotus wheels, Fractal hand grips, Air headset and cold-forged IHC one piece forks.

ALL NEW TYPE R GT DECK
With a 5" width, by 19.5" length this deck is a ideal size for riders looking to improve their park focused tricks. smartly designed to maximise foot space, but compact enough to prevent flyouts, the deck is the result of years of testing from the Root team. This GT deck achieves somewhat unrivalled lightweight-ness, without having to compromise on it's strength thanks to using a triple-channel cavity construction and it's unique use of Magnesium-rich 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium alloy. 

HMA BARS
Roots now famous HMA bars are constructed out of Hi-Modulus Alloy, this retains the lightness of a regular aluminium bar, but is 25% stronger, this unique characteristic isn't found on other scooter bars, and now they've made them available as stock on this Type R GT scooter.

LOTUS WHEELS
The Lotus wheels are evolved from Roots Honeycore wheels, but are using a slightly softer PU compound. Ideal for riders looking for more control, boasting a Ultra High Rebound & Grippy PU that is designed to perform best on indoor skateparks and smooth concrete, where slippery conditions can be a problem. These hybrid wheels retain the speed that makes their Honeycore wheels such a popular choice, but with additional grip which helps in landing more tricks as you progress your skills.

FRACTAL GRIPS
Roots all-new Fractal grips are designed to redefine what makes the perfect scooter grip, using a unique slow-rebound compound for an unbeatable comfort with great shock absorption, having used AI to design the most efficient shaped grooves to disperse sweat quicker, helping keep your hands drier for longer. These grips are thinner than most which further improves your overall grip strength. Combined this gives you ultimate control and comfort where it matters most.

GT CLAMP
This stylish and minimalist clamp design helps reduce the weight of the scooter even further, but provides a strong clamping strength thanks to using dual high tensile 6mm bolts.
