Modernizing this classic concept so it could keep up with evolutions in riding styles, techniques, and performance expectations. The FatTail was designed for pumping, carving, pedestrian slalom, freestyle and generally any situation where lively, energetic lines are on the menu.

Whether you’re weaving your way through a hairpin-riddled downhill course or a pedestrian-infested urban jungle, the Orangatang 4President is your candidate of choice.

An offset bearing seat and smaller race/slalom shape allows for grippy hard carving and pumping with quick acceleration. Sharp, slightly angled edges allow the wheel to stay railed in hard carves and technical downhill runs, while a thick and solid lip profile ensures a smooth and predictable drift when kicked sideways.

The 4President is poured in our proprietary Happy Thane formula for high roll speed, excellent traction, and smooth, predictable drifts.

CONCAVE & CAMBER
The camber of the original Pintail has been kept, the concave has been increased and a full (if chunky) kick tail has been added. Increased concave locks your feet in, while the top mounted and cambered platform provides energetic performance in and out of each carve. 

PERFECT WIDTH
The width of the deck has been redistributed while maintaining subtle tapering near the trucks to provide both ample leverage and awareness of foot position while powering through turns.

RE-SHAPED
The formerly vestigial tail has received the silicone treatment for improved functionality in both freestyle tricks and surf-style shredding. The FatTail’s shape and contours has been redesigned to ensure more consistent flex characteristics throughout the entire length of the standing platform when using either wheelbase.

HIGH QUALITY FINISH
A vertically laminated bamboo core is sandwiched between fibreglass skins. The tail is reinforced with an additional layer of fibreglass (top) and carbon fibre (bottom) for added stiffness and abrasion resistance. The bottom is finished with a bamboo veneer with a die cut water droplet pattern, which is filled with transparent urethane and a “floating” graphic to give a sense of dimensionality.
